“New to me and so worth it” Honestly, all the other waits were too long, so we wandered in here. The tikka masala and veggie dumplings were out of this world. Decent prices, and generous portions. Really glad I came.

My wife and I went on opening night on Saturday. Very friendly service. The baby spinach, mozz, and beet salad was composed beautifully and was super delicious, addictive even. The veggie noodle soup was pretty good, a bit mild in flavor but I am guessing that is how it is meant to be. Veggie momos were great curry bombs of flavor. Mango lassi was delish. 4/5 overall, 5/5 for the salad in particular. Highly recommended!

“Great value for tasty food”
Our lunch here included a delicious mango lassi, tasty lentil soup and one of the best lamb vindaloos I’ve ever had. All for $8.99! Decor is basic but tasteful. Service was friendly and efficient. Would definitely eat here again.

“Marvelous flavors; reasonable cost; nice, informal place”
We had a vegetable stew, which was more like a noodle soup. Very tasty, the noodles a little like dumplings and a wonderful, comforting dish on a rainy night. Also a chicken curry (chicken saag, I think), which was delightfully spiced, the flavors nicely blended. Both dishes had wonderful, subtle flavors, different from other cuisines. The desert was a caramel thing, with little pasta nuggets. Absolutely to die for. Very rich, sweet, and creamy. To tell the truth, several people could be very satisfied with just a few spoonfuls, but I ate the whole thing. The service was a little slow, but we enjoyed the casual ambience, and absolutely loved the food. -

“peasant pleasure”
This was as another reviewer stated an unexpected pleasure. One of the owners Lakba was our server. The food was peasant pleasure food which is my favorite. It was homey, quiet, clean, perfect music and very relaxing. We ordered too much food because the prices were so low that we assumed the portions would be smaller than they were. No problem they will be good today for lunch. If you are expecting fancy this is not your place but if you enjoy honest this will be refreshing.

“My third time was just as good.”
It is rare for me to write a review but even rarer to write a second review. Being new to life as a vegetarian I feel very very lucky to live close to Sherpa Kitchen. Great food beautifully presented by nice folks. What more could you ask for!
